My stay at the hotel had its ups and downs. The rooms definitely felt old school and rough around the edges, especially in Wing 6. Despite being non-smoking, the location within the 'smoking room area' led to a noticeable smoke odor in the bathroom and near the door. On the bright side, the rooms had bidets, and the free shuttle bus service to and from Echigo Yuzawa station was convenient. The staff were honest, but the overall decor was outdated.

The rooms had a mix of old-school charm and some rough edges, with a noticeable smoke odor in certain areas. However, the availability of bidets was a nice touch. The outdated decor in Wing 6 might not be everyone's cup of tea.
Service

The service was a bit hit or miss. While the staff were polite and honest, there were instances of missing ski locker cards causing confusion.

The hotel's location right on the slopes was both a pro and a con. While it was convenient, the crowded areas sometimes detracted from the experience. The free shuttle buses to quieter spots like Tashiro and Kagura were a welcome alternative for better snow conditions.
Dining

Dining options covered the basics and set me up for a day of skiing. Despite being in a 'smoking room area,' the food choices were diverse and not as smelly as expected.
Facilities

The hotel provided essential facilities such as housekeeping, shuttle services, ski pass vending, and ski equipment hire. While not luxurious, these amenities were functional and met basic needs for a ski trip.

My stay at the hotel was a bit of a mixed bag. The location was unbeatable, right at the base of the chair lifts, which was perfect for snow activities. However, the room was disappointing as it was small, smelled of cigarettes, and was old and worn. The service was friendly overall but lacked promptness and assistance at times. The dining experience was slightly above average, and the facilities were satisfactory.

The hotel is conveniently located right on the slopes, making it easy to access skiing areas, although it can get crowded. The rooms are a bit outdated but offer a view of the beginner slope. The service was helpful, especially accommodating bikes and bags. Dining options cover all the basics but could be pricey. Overall, a good choice for its location and service, despite some room conditions and dining costs.

The hotel has a great location right on the slopes, making it excellent for skiing and offering a nice view. However, the indoor quality is a bit pricey compared to the experience. The free shuttle bus to quieter areas with better snow conditions is a plus. The service is friendly, and the room size is decent by Japanese standards.
